Jake Rinehart has gone down the long rodeo road with Ricochet since his time in college. Ricochet showed a lot of versatility competing in several events from the Steer Wrestling, to Breakaway Roping, and even Barrel Racing. Which the Barrels was more or less to prove a point that he was capable and competitive enough to handle any event. The Barrel Racers begged to use him but this was Jake's #1 Steer Wrestling horse. 

After doing well with Ricochet in the college circuit, Jake decided to go pro. This pair have done well for themselves placing at several Marque rodeos. One they can hold in high regard is the 2nd place win in Houston. As the 2007 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo draws near it looks as though Jake Rinehart is sitting good to make his first WNFR birth with the help of Ricochet (Freckles Moon Bug).
